Little Bit of History!

In 1944 the Fairburn Fire Department was formed by Barney Nordstrom, who was the first Fire Chief along with Furman Smith, Von Smith, and Maynard Downen.
1983 marked the formation of the Fairburn Fire Protection District.
The fire district was then merged with Riverside Fire District in 1996 to become the district we are now.
The current fire hall was built in 2002.
